About me: I was born in New Jersey and completed high school as well as a Bachelor in Science for Special Education and Elementary Education. I taught one year of high school in NJ just prior to marriage and moving to the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, residing a few blocks from Lake Superior. I taught Special Education grades K-5 for eight years. I completed a Master’s Degree for Learning Disabilities and an Education Specialist Degree for Supervision and Management. In 2003, I moved to Texas and taught middle school for two years before my employment with Eanes ISD beginning in 2005. I have four adult children; the youngest two are a set of twin girls. I have four grandchildren. My passions include hiking, mountain climbing, traveling, and spending time with family and friends. I enjoy "reading" audio books on my commute to and from Eanes Elementary. My greatest joy as an educator is teaching a child to read and experiencing success with each student.
